Will it work?

I hope we have all had some fun trying to build a simple camera. Even if we don't get any good images we will refer back to this camera often as the basis of our understanding of more complex cameras. The most expensive and complex cameras are basically the same ... a light-tight box, a hole, a shutter, and something to capture the image.

What I would like to find out from you today is ... do you think it will work? Do you think any of the pictures you have taken will come out. Please describe why or why not.

Feel free to respond to each other's posts.

NOTE: I will grade grammar, spelling, and punctuation as if you're in an English class. always write as if you are in English class. This is true for everything you do, not just here!

Well, for my group {Chelsea and Kaitlin} I think what will effect the pictures the most is exposure time since we're still figuring out what works best. Also, aiming at a particular subject is a little harder since the hole is so tiny, we don't know exactly what we're aiming at.

Our design should work very well once we learn the definite exposure times and aiming.

I think that some of them will work, but not all. [As in, Carrie, Megan, and mines.] I really do hope that ours will work though. Some might not work if any light got in too soon or if they were exposed too long.

(I worked with Kaitlin and Alex) I think our first picture definitely won't work the way we want it to. I don't know if the exposure was long enough because it was a bit cloudy, and because we were trying to hold it steady instead of letting it rest somewhere it wouldn't move. I think our second and third photos will be interesting (if they work!) because we used moving subjects.

i don't think that the pictures that we took will turn out. the reson for this is because i think we got light on out paper before we got to take the picture

well it should if no light has gotten into the box or on the paper.
if the the pictures has little exposure to light.

I think that if we try many times that the picture will come out at some point. Mostly because we will know what we need to do in order to make them come out just right.

Personally; I do not think it will work becuse it is too easy for light to hit the film (unless your in the dark room). Plus we dont have a really good idea on how long to leave the shutter open.

I think some will work and some might not depending on how light tight their camera's are. But if the paper was exposed long enough but we won't know until the pictures are developed.

I am not sure if our camera will take pictures because I was not here when we finished our camera because I was at a soccer game. But since I am a optimistic person, the camera will definately work!

I believe that our group (Zoe & Mason & Doug's) pinhole camera's 2nd photo will work out okay, but the first may not since the photopaper was crooked inside of our camera. Another reason may be because our exposure time was too long.

I don't think that the picture I took with our pinhole camera will come out. I think that because I was holding the camera while I took the picture, and I started laughing and so the camera was shaking. So, the picture will probably be really blurry.

I think my group's, which is Alex, Chelsea, and I, pictures won't all turnout. The first one would be the one that would be least likely to turn out. This is because we weren't sure how long to have the shutter open on a cloudy day. Also, we held it (the camera) on top of a garbage can on it's side side. So I really don't know if we kept it steady at all.

I really hope the second one works out, because it is the most creative one we have taken so far. Which we took on a sunnier day along with the third picture.

yes i think it would work b/c the little amount of light for the pin hole camera traces out the outline and the chemicals in the dark room brings out the rest of the picture

I don't know if it will work. Because I wasn't here but. I think it might work because, we had work pretty hard on the pin hole camera and so i hope that my groups picture will turn out okay.

I do think our (myca, carrie, and my) photographs will turn out. I think this because we made sure our box was light tight, and loaded the camera in the dark room. We had a exposure time of three minutes so I think an image will turn out. But, I think the camera may have shaken a little bit while the paper was being exposed, so that may change the image.

I think that our camera will work because we made a very decent camera that i am pretty sure will work. It was made by me Zoe and Mason.

Hey Hilla,

I think my groups camera will work. If it does not the reason will probably be that we didn't leave it long enough in the sun. But Stevie's won't work because she had something to do with it.

Hilla your a Killa.

Sydney, Stevie, and Miranda

I think that our camera has a good chance at working. If our camera was to fail it would be because the box wouldn't be light tight but ours is so I'm pretty sure it will.

To be honest with you Mr. Hiller, i think my Camera will work cause i know you doubt it and you know i like arguing with you....haha. Just kidding!! But seriously we havent even taken a picture yet...is that bad? haha. I think that it might workthough, if we even did it right. I think that if it does work its gonna be killa like Hilla!!!
And carries dumb....my camera will work way better then hers cause im way smarter!!
